Your contribution helps us close that mentoring gap. Each mentoring group will consist of two or four members under 35 years of age, with an interest or experience in a similar type of product or sector. Each group is led by a mentor and is expected to meet four times in a year starting in the fall. Meetings can include lessons learned from mentors' careers, discussions about professional goals, case studies, social events, project tours, guest speakers, or anything else that is mutually agreed upon to foster the relationship within the group. Mentors don't need to be Ohio State alumni. SCORE Columbus OH mentors are experienced and highly successful business professionals with the experience and knowledge necessary to help you achieve your small business dreams.
By uniting mentors and mentees, preference will be given to honors students and students who are in their final year at Knowlton. It is an empowerment and mentoring organization for girls and adolescents in the community through its school program, community workshops, events and talks. Offers free interview and ready-to-work clothing, guidance, and career guidance resources (such as professional development, computers with Microsoft software, printers, and more) for women aged 16 and over in Central Ohio. The mission of the ASAS Ohio mentoring program is for mentors to connect with children who live in risky environments and who would benefit from a mentor because of exposure to substance use disorder or adverse childhood experiences (ACE) and whose daily lives are affected by social health harms. The weekly school mentoring program pairs adolescent mentors from Upper Arlington, Marble Cliff and Grandview Heights with children enrolled in the after-school programs of the Upper Arlington and Grandview Heights school districts. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to hold their initial meeting before the start of the mentoring program (date to be determined). Group tutoring involves them in fun activities and provides them with a safe environment to discuss various topics. Mentoring program for single-parent college students and girls and young Columbus-area high school women who are parenting or are pregnant.
Participants have the opportunity to gain real-life skills by working on projects and attending events that will guide them to become positive leaders in their communities.
